On this page, you can find instructions for Newsletter integration with ReDi Restaurant Reservation plugin.

Step 1: Install Newsletter plugin

Search from WordPress plugin directory “Newsletterplugin”, install it, and activate.

Step 2: Setup Extension Manager

When you click on download any extension, it will ask you to install Extension Manager. Download it and install as any other WordPress plugin.

Step 3: Get the free license

Provide email and obtain the license key

Step 4: Setup Newsletter API Extension

Open Extension menu item from Newsletter plugin and locate Newsletter API item. Click on Install Now. When all is succeeded, this is how it will look:

Step 5: Setup API KEY

After API extension installation there will be a new menu item API. Click on Create key and note Client Key and Client Secret.

Step 6: Create Lists

Create following lists:

• All customers - this is where all the customers will be synced, regardless of the consent to contact. You can use that list for other means, but not for newsletter, not to violate regulations.

• Newsletter - this is the list where customers, that ticked “Newsletter” checkbox will be added.

• VIP - this list you can use to skip pre-payment for VIP customers.

Step 7: Integration

Please send us Client Key, Client Secret and List ID’s, to finalize the setup and trigger synchronization.

Data Synchronization

Synchronization with Newsletter plugin runs every night at 0:00 UTC. All customers from reservations are added to All list, those who has given consent by settings check box next to custom field “newsletter” will be added to Newsletter list. VIP list used in pre-payment addon, to skip payments for VIP clients. You need to manually assign or remove the clients from VIP list.

Reservations from the previous day are taken for sync.
